StampNews.com hurries to inform our readers that the most famous Sanrio character Hello Kitty appears on the limited-edition stamp set by Thailand Post, called “Hello Kitty Loves Thailand”.
These four stamps depict Hello Kitty’s Thai-style adventure: the character rides a Chao Phraya River boat, visits historic sites in Ayutthaya, and goes shopping at Damnoen Saduak Floating market.
For the first time on Thai postage stamps, the Sanrio signature character Hello Kitty is shown traveling the central region of Thailand. The cat-inspired character will also pictured cruising the Chao Phraya river and floating market, taking a train to Kanchanaburi, riding an elephant in Lopburi’s sunflower fields and visiting historic venues in Ayutthaya and Nakhon Pathom.
In the colorful stamps, Hello Kitty even wears a bow resembling the Thai flag atop her standard-issue red bow. If you’re wondering why she doesn’t visit Koh Phangan’s famous Full Moon Party, it’s because the collection focuses on the attractions of the central provinces only.
