An American Chinese couple created an artwork of the Great Wall entirely out of postage stamps, and the picture is presently on display at the Gulangyu Music Theater.

The 3.1 metres by 4.8 metres artwork – which was created to mark International Museum Day and the opening of a stamp exhibition at the music theater – features over 8,000 stamps from Russia, Vietnam, Singapore and Cambodia. Stamp collector Chen Youmin and his wife Yang Jingjing took over 4 months to complete the stunning picture.

The organizer of the exhibition selected 1,100 stamps from Mr. Chen's collection of 200,000 stamps for the event. With the theme of China Dream – New Silk Road, the exhibition features stamps related to the ancient Silk Road, the 21-century marina Silk Road and Gulangyu.
