StampNews.com got to know that Brock Jenkins was recently named the winner of the 2014 Missouri Junior Duck Stamp Art contest. Jenkins' artwork was selected from 903 entries at the state level, and was selected as one of the top 25 in the National Junior Duck Stamp Art contest.

Jenkins is the son of Mel and Lila Jenkins of Pittsburg. Jenkins' oil painting of a northern shoveler was chosen as best of show at the statewide contest in Columbia in March.

Thanks to a donation from Bass Pro Shops, Jenkins received $500 for his best of show win. More than 29,000 students participated in the state Junior Duck Stamp Art contests in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
