StampNews.com is glad to inform that Eesti Post has prepared for issuing a special stamp depicting the common euro currency. The stamp has been designed and is to be put into circulation on the 2d of October.
On January 1, 2002 the common euro currency was launched in twelve countries of the European Union. On January 1, 2011 the euro was taken into use also in Estonia and the postage stamp issued to mark the event was the first one in the euro denomination of €1.
This postage stamp has the same design but is in a different colour. Starting from September 1, 2014 the rate of the regular letter up 50 grams in the 1st zone is €1.20.
