StampNews.com is glad to inform that Brazilan Post in cooperation with Croatian Postal Service issued a set of stamps dedicated to Diplomatic Relations between Brazil and Croatia. The stamps feature stylized and monochrome portraits of two great scientists: Croatian, Nikola Tesla, and the Brazilian, Mario Schenberg. The stamp series was released on the 14th of October and is now available.
Mário Schenberg was a Jewish Brazilian electrical engineer, physicist, art critic and writer. Schenberg was also a known member of the Brazilian Communist Party and professor of the University of São Paulo.
Nikola was a Serbian American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, and futurist best known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current (AC) electricity supply system.
