StampNews.com is glad to inform that Luxembourg Post is to release special stamps to celebrate the upcoming Christmas. The issue is to be put into circulation on the 2d of December.

The stamps in the series on the theme of peace and peaceful co-existence depict a fox and rabbit on the first stamp and an owl and mouse on the second stamp.

These soft-toned stamps, in terms of touch and sight, prompt us to reflect on the festive period, but mainly to dwell upon a message of peace and hope at Christmas.

These graphically designed stamps were developed by the artist Linda Bos, born on 7 January 1982 in the Netherlands. In 2005, she graduated from the Design Academy in Eindhoven. She worked in a graphic design studio in Luxembourg for four years.

In 2010, she branched out on her own and launched “PRETTY FOREST design + illustration”. She always enjoyed sketching by hand, knowing that she would subsequently transpose her work onto a digital format. She continues to start each illustration with a pencil and a piece of paper.
