Beauty and Grandeur of Ukraine stamp block

The Ukrainian post issued a stamp block within the series "Beauty and Grandeur of Ukraine" dedicated to the Crimea Autonomous Republic. The five stamps of the bloc feature:

Valley of Ghosts (Dymerdzhi), Alushta ("Valley of Ghosts" is a place on the southwestern slope of the massif Demerdzhi in the Crimea. Whimsical shapes of the valley that resemble human beings were created by the weathering of Upper Jurassic conglomerates of Demerdzhi. The Valley of Ghosts became natural monument of local importance in 1960, of national importance - since 1981);

Church of St. John the Baptist, Kerch (Church of St. John the Baptist is a monument of early medieval Byzantine architecture of X century. It is one of the few buildings that survived from the period of prosperity of Tmutarakan Duchy (X-XI centuries);

Wine cellars of Massandra (famous wine cellars, located in the village of Massandra, Crimea);

Peliku (ancient Greek vessel common in Attica and having an amphora shape. Stored in Kerch Reserve);

Panorama of the Southern coast of Crimea.
