The common stamp issue by the Administrations of the member states of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communication is dedicated to national costumes.
Russian national costume has been used since ancient times, but its varieties depend on the region. Russian national costume is characterized by a large amount of outer garments, cloak-shaped and loose clothing. Cloak-shaped cloths were worn over the head, loose cloths were cut from top to bottom and were fastened to hooks or buttons. The stamp depicts the inhabitants of Vologda in ceremonial attire: the young man is dressed in festive attire and the girl is in betrothed clothes, as well as the emblem of the RCC.
