Postage Stamp on AIDS Issued by Pakistan

On 8 June 2011, Pakistan Post issued a stamp in order to create awareness among the general public and to sensitize the population to the AIDS risk.

"The multicolored stamp of 41 x 50 mm size shows that people all over the world may join hands for the prevention of the AIDS epidemic," said Pakistan Postal Services Additional Director General Fazli Sattar Khan.

He informed that a number of the other Universal Postal Union (UPU) member countries will also issue special stamps and philatelic products to mark the 30 years of AIDS epidemic.
