A stamp exhibition, divided according to three different categories with different themes for each month, will be held at the National Museum until March.
The "Pameran Setem 1Malaysia 1 Dunia" will feature stamps and philatelic products from the Philatelic Society of Malaysia (PSM) and Pos Malaysia.
The exhibition will also show the collection of artifacts by Pos Malaysia and show the history and evolution of the local post industry with about 15,000 stamps exhibited including the oldest stamp, the Penny Black which dates back to 1840.
The exhibition will also include many fun activities including counters selling stamps and philatelic products by Pos Malaysia as well as the Setemku where visitors can design and print their own stamps.
On weekdays there will also be games for visitors such as finding hidden stamps and guessing the total number of stamps.
On weekends there will be counters by stamp dealers, colouring contests and drawing contests in correlation with the themes of the exhibition every month ("Youth at Heart", "Beauty of Flora & Fauna", "Knowing the World").
