The Kosovo Post has issued a set of stamps dedicated to the National parks Mirusha, Rugova, Gjeravica and Sharri.
The Mirusha Waterfalls are a series of waterfalls found in the Mirusha River. The waterfalls created canyons and caves, and are famous throughout Kosovo. The walls around the waterfalls are white in color and the water from the Mirusha river is a dirty brown. The highest waterfall, between the sixth and seventh lake, is 22 meters high.
Rugova is a region in western Kosovo. Rugova is approximately 20 km long in the east - west direction and 10 km wide in the north - south direction. There are 13 settlements in Rugova. The majority of them are located on the southern slopes of Hajla.
Gjeravica is the highest mountain peak in Kosovo. It has an altitude of 2,656 m. Located in north-western Kosovo near the Albanian border, it is only surpassed by the Maja Jezerce peak in Albania, which at 2,694 m is the highest point of the entire Dinaric Alps. Gjeravica is famous for its glacial lakes.
The Sharri Mountains are a mountain range in the Balkans that extends from southern Kosovo and the northwest of the Republic of Macedonia to northeastern Albania.
