Ireland Marks Year of the Tiger

On 11 February, 2010, An Post issued a stamp to celebrate the Chinese New Year which began on 14 February, 2010. This year is the year of the tiger which is the third sign in the cycle of the Chinese zodiac which consists of 12 animal signs. It is a sign of courage. The tiger is a natural born leader and symbolises power, passion and daring.
