This new circus issue focuses on the circus acts performed under the big top, particularly crazy acts that can make an audience wonder "Are they really doing that?" The illustrations are based on photographs of actual Australian acts from the 1960s to present day, and show a range of acts undertaken over this period, from daring aerial feats and fire juggling to strange acts of contortion and an explosive human cannon ball. The stamps are illustrated by artist Jim Tsinganos and capture the humor, color and absurdity of circus acts that most appeal to children.
