100 years of modern sheep farming in Greenland

100 years ago, the first organized sheep farming experiments began in Frederiksdal (Narsaq Kujalleq), South Greenland. Today, sheep farming is intensified with the goal of achieving a high production. Greenlandic mutton is a delicacy, which contributes to the economy by good export income for Greenland.
