StampNews.com got to know that Poland Post has issued a commemorative stamp to mark the beginning of Polish Presidency of Council of the Baltic Sea States. The issue was unveiled and put into circulation on the 1st of July.
On 9 June, the Deputy Minister Henryka Mościcka-Dendys of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs presented in Warsaw the priorities of Poland's upcoming presidency of the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS), which began on 1 July. The event was also attended by Jan Lundin, Director General of the Council's Secretariat.
"We view the Council of the Baltic Sea States as the principal format of regional integration in the Baltic Sea region, complementing our involvement with the Visegrad Group", said Undersecretary of State Mościcka-Dendys. She went on to thank Estonia for its fruitful 2014-15 presidency, which is coming to an end at the end of June.
Poland's one-year presidency will pursue three priorities: sustainable development, culture as a driving force for social and economic development, and civil protection.
