StampNews.com got to know that PHLPost together with the Metrobank Foundation, Inc. and the Department of Education (DepEd), launched "Salamat Po Titser" stamps on 5 September 2014 to commemorate the National Teachers’ Month that is celebrated from 5 September 2014 to 5 October 2014.

The stamp presentation coincided with the awarding to winners of Metrobank Foundation's Search for Outstanding Teachers (SOT), Country's Outstanding Police Officers in Service (COPS), and The Outstanding Philippine Soldiers (TOPS) which was attended by Senators Franklin Drilon, Sonny Angara, and Grace Poe.

The stamp was designed by Claire Alino of the Metrobank Foundation, Inc. and features an illustration of a teacher and students carrying a flower and an envelope with a stamp. It also incorporates the logo of the National Teachers' Month with the texts "Salamat Po Titser" in the background.

About 300,000 copies of the special stamps were printed using imported unwatermarked paper, in PhP10.00 denomination.
