Italian post issued a stamp featuring the Ordinary Public Consistory for the creation of new Cardinals.

The stamp celebrates the fact that Pope Francis created nineteen new Cardinals on Saturday, 22 of February, during the Feast of the Chair of St Peter the Apostle. The newly created Cardinals received the insignia of their office – the red biretta and the cardinal’s ring – in a streamlined ceremony conducted entirely in Latin.

The stamp features Pope Francis putting the Cardinal's biretta to a newly proclaimed Cardinal.
