Adorable and endearing caterpillars slithering along in a delightful manner –These are Yellow and Red, the main characters of "Larva", the fourth in the Korean Character Series. This animated cartoon, Larva, is a story that unfolds around two caterpillars which, at the pre-butterfly stage, go through various escapades in the world of human beings. Occasionally, fighting, sometimes in danger, they make their way ingeniously through all difficulties.
First broadcast in 2011, the 3D animation "Larva" has, from the beginning, created a large fan base of both children and adults thanks in part to the unique, comical appearance of its two main characters, and to the slapstick comedy which continues without lines. Currently, it is sparking a craze not only in the domestic market but also in foreign markets, with about 1,000 items of related character products available and the cartoon itself being broadcast in 97 countries around the world.
The Larva stamps are issued in the form of stickers featuring: the insatiable and idiotic yet multi-faceted Yellow; Red, a quick-tempered and radical but skillful greedy head; Pink, whose charming face hides a great strength; Brown, an unconventional dung beetle, keen on collecting his precious dung; Black, a beetle of superhuman strength with deadly force and punch; and Prussian, a parrot which, looking down from above, smacks of a nasty, bossy force. Additionally, included on the margin of the stamps are various kinds of stickers that can be used in conjunction with the stamps.
