Magyar Posta - Magyar Architecture commemorative stamp blocks and representative stamp set by Hungarian Post welcomed Miklós Ybl – a famous Hungarian architect, one of Europe's leading architects in the mid to late nineteenth century as well as Hungary's most influential architect during his career. The special stamp blocks depict Nicholas Ybl's Szabadkígyós Wenckheim castle. This building can be seen in the background, one of the most famous architectural works of the master.
The set of stamps includes a limited edition. A total of 500 copies of a color print is the basic addition, whereas the Special Editions were released. Special versions for a limited time can be purchased at face value only in August! The stamp and the block folder were designed by Barber Franz Gustav. The new issues are available from 18th July in post offices of Hungary, they can be also ordered at online stores of Hungarian Post.
