Slovak post Pofis issued a stamp in commemoration of the 100th anniversary from the birth of Gorazd Zvonicky, Slovak poet, representative of Catholic modernism, Catholic priest, missionary, teacher, translator and significant exile worker.
His literary work was published in many Slovak journals, such as: "Rozvoj" (Development), "Don Bosco", "Salezianske zvesti" (Salesian rumors), "Mladez a misie" (Youth and missions), "Slovenske pohlady" (Slovak looks), "Kultura" (Culture) and others. He was a poet, but also tried to write prose ("Okolo klucovej dierky" (Around keyhole), "Ked mlcat nie je zlato" (When silent is gold).)
In addition to his own work Gorazd Zvonicky translated from Italian. For his contribution to Italian culture President of the Italian Republic awarded him in 1993 a high state award Knightly Order of Merit of the Italian Republic. For the dissemination of Marian devotion Gorazd Zvonicky was awarded membership in the Academia Mariana institution in Rome.
