Jersey Post issued a set of stamps to celebrate the racehorse Corbiere, Grand National Winner 1983. 30 years ago, Corbiere won the Grand National 1983.  He was the first Grand National winner to be trained by a woman, Jenny Pitman, and he was owned by the great grandson of the first Lord Trent, Jesse Boot, founder of Boots the Chemist who was married to a Jersey lady by the name of Florence Booth.

Jenny Pitman has kindly provided text for this issue's First Day Covers and Presentation Packs.
