StampNews.com is glad to announce twelve new Finnish stamp releases from ItellaPostiOy to be issued in January – May 2014.

The first stamps of the year celebrate ToveJansson’s 100th anniversary, ancient Finnish castles, the Finnjet ferry, Finnish national musical instruments and the Linnansaari National Park. The stamps also depict snowmen, bears, bunnies, fruit and flowers. The stamps have been designed by veterans, such as Erik Bruun, and three new rising names.

In March, ItellaPostiOy will release the traditional Finnish Easter stamp, spring greetings designed by KaarinaToivanen, one of the best-known postcard artists in Finland, stamp rolls depicting fruit in the garden growing in Finland: pear, apple and cherry. ItellaPostiOy will complete the March issue by the Nordic Maritime series.

In May, ItellaPostiOy will issue the following stamps: the 2014 EUROPA stamps representing national musical instruments, summer landscapes, Finnish national parks and the traditional flower spring stamp depicting a viola.
