Seasonal Flowers Series stamps from Japan

New Furusato (Prefectural Issues) stamps by the Japanese post represent the 5th issue of the Seasonal Flowers series depicting flowers that symbolize the four seasons of Japan. The current fifth collection of the stamps is based on the theme of spring flowers. The stamps depict Carnations (Caryophyllaceae), Tulips (Liliaceae), Sakura (Rosaceae), Gerbera (Asteraceae) and Forget-me-not Boraginaceae).
