The Russian Post has issued four stamps dedicated to the characters of famous cartoons created in the Soviet Union. Soviet cartoons were always distinguished by high quality and deep content. This is why cartoons from the Soviet era have earned love and respect of Russian viewers of all ages. In the children's animation serious questions were raised in the form of a game. Short educational stories raised in children love and compassion, courage and humility, mutual aid and respect for each other.

The stamps depict characters from "Winnie the Pooh", "The Lillebror and Carlson", "Mowgli" and "Vovka in the Far Far Away Kingdom" cartoons.
