200 Years of the Russian Victory in the Patriotic War 1812 – new stamp by Russia

The Russian Post has issued a stamp commemorating the 200th anniversary of the victory of Russia in the Patriotic War of 1812 against Napoleon Bonaparte’s army.
The stamp depicts the official emblem of the celebration, approved by the President of the Russian Federation. In the fields of post block representatives and arms of the following corps: artillery, infantry, cavalry (Cuirassiers and Hussars) are featured.
