Commemorating the 650th anniversary of the Battle of Blue Waters that was successful to the Grand Duke of Lithuania Algirdas, Lithuania Post has issued a stamp to mark this historical event.

The stamp features Algirdas, the Grand Duke of Lithuania, and the silhouettes of fighters. The stamp for the occasion of the battle has been issued in the edition of 100 000 copies with the nominal value of LTL 2.45 (EUR 0.7).

The stamp has been designed by the artist Mindaugas Gribauskas. Along with the stamp, the first day cover and sheet will be released.
