The Italian Post has issued a definitive stamp belonging to the series theme “The Italian artistic and cultural heritage” and commemorating the centennial of birth of the famous Italian artist and sculptor Aligi Sassu. The stamp reproduces the painting of the artist titled “Battaglia di Cavalieri” (Battle of the Knights), created by Sassu in 1986 (private collection).
