125th Birth Anniversary of Marc Chagall stamp from Belarus

The Byelorussian Post has issued a souvenir sheet commemorating the 125th birth anniversary of the world-famous artist with Byelorussian roots Marc Chagall.
Marc Chagall (1887 – 1985) is a famous and one of the most successful artists of the 20th century. He created works practically in every artistic medium, including painting, book illustrations, stained glass, stage sets, ceramic, tapestries and fine art prints. The souvenir sheet features the portrait of Marc Chagall by Yuri Pen, his first art teacher in Vitebsk.
