The Polynesian Post presented two new commemorative stamps on the theme "Mother and Child", made by two painters of the island of Moorea: Annie Cathala and Olivier Louze, to congratulate the women of French Polynesia and all over the world.

Since 1983, French Polynesia has celebrated International Women's Day, which is awaited every year by all Polynesian women.

On that day which is specifically dedicated to women, many events are proposed such as dance shows, songs, local artists' performances, but also solidarity and welfare actions targeted at underprivileged people and children in difficult situations.
