The Falkland Islands Post Office is issuing a special stamp to commemorate the wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton.
The stamp with face value of £2 developed from a concept prepared by a Falkland Islander in a traditional style depicts portraits of both William and Catherine taken from official engagement photographs with Westminster Abbey in the background.
The stamp will be produced in sheetlets of 10 and there will be a special first day cover showing details of Westminster Abbey.
Avid royalty collectors will be interested to know that the Falkland Islands Government is also issuing a Royal Wedding Crown Size coin in Cupro Nickel and Proof Sterling Silver showing a finely sculpted portrait of the couple.
