Classical composers appear to be flavour of the month for stamp issues. Following the launch of three stamps by Cyprus Post depicting Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven, Austrian Post has issued a stamp commemorating the 200th birthday of Franz Liszt.
"Franz Liszt was not only a gifted composer, but also one of the greatest piano virtuoso of all time," said Post Executive Board Director Dr. Herbert Gotz.
The special stamp will have a print run of 650,000 units. The design comes from the Studio Moucka.
