The popular "Classical trademarks" series is putting trademarks on stamps - and is being continued with the present "Niemetz" stamp in an extremely "sweet" manner.
Niemetz is practically a synonym for long-standing high-quality sweets from Vienna, and above all for one product that is known far beyond Austria's borders: the "Schwedenbombe". This fine confectionery, a chocolate baiser as one might call it, is a sweet that consists of a filling of whipped egg white, a tender chocolate coating and a wafer base.
Alongside the Schwedenbombe, Niemetz also makes other fine sweets, including the "Swedy" and "Manja" chocolate bars. The popular products are sold in almost all countries of Europe and in numerous states in America.
