On April 22, 2010, Croatian post will release four new commemorative stamps from the "Famous Croats" series. The stamps were designed by Tomislav Vlainic, a designer from Zagreb.
Croatian post first issued stamps from the "Famous Croats" series in 1997. This year's stamps will feature:
- Marko Antun de Dominis, the bishop of Senj and archbishop of Split
- Ivan Matetic Ronjgov, composer and music teacher
- Janko Polic Kamov, poet and novelist
- Grgo Gamulin, art historian and university professor, one of the most important theoretician of Croatian art of the 19th and 20th century
