In the 49 years that New Zealand Post has been producing Christmas stamps, one central theme has remained constant: the importance and relevance of the Christmas tradition for the people of New Zealand and those of others around the world.
Following the success of the 2008 Christmas stamps, the 2009 issue combines traditional and contemporary views of this annual Christian festival.
