New stamp from France: ‘Constitutional council’

This stamp is dedicated to an important government body in France.
The constitutional council takes care of the regularity of principal elections and referendums as well as expresses its opinion about the conformity of laws and resolutions to the Constitution before their effectiveness. The council also interferes in certain circumstances of the parliamentary and social life of France.
