Post Danmark has issued four stamps to mark the centenary of the Old Town in Aarhus.

Over the years, the Old Town has assembled an impressive collection of approximately one million items, including costumes, household textiles and furniture, and now boasts the largest museum collection in Denmark outside the capital.

The museum is also home to the Danish Museum of Clocks and Watches, which can be seen on the left-hand side of the DKK 8.00 stamp, and, since 2006, to the Danish Poster Museum.
