Images from the award-winning best-selling children's book, The Jolly Christmas Postman, are the theme for the Island's festive stamps.
For generations children have been fascinated and entertained reading the interactive The Jolly Christmas Postman books, by Allan and Janet Ahlberg.
A set of six stamps costs £3.69, the presentation pack £4.44 and the first day cover £4.39.
Other stamp sets issued at the beginning of this month include Lest We Forget – 90 Years of Remembrance Memorials and Letters Home, as well as John 'Dog' Callister's A Walk in the Ballaugh Curragh.
