A limited edition commemorative cover is being issued for this conference hosted by the School of Asian Studies at the University of London. The conference will be an important milestone in the historical documentation of the Olympic Games, following the first Olympic Games hosted by China and the handover of the Olympic Flag from Beijing to London. The Royal Mail stamp pane issued for the Beijing London handover ceremony will be cancelled with a unique SOAS postmark for 12 September, the first day of this historic conference.
