On 8 August 2008, the United Nations Postal Administration (UNPA) will issue a set of six commemorative stamps in mini-sheet format on the theme "Sport for Peace".
The stamp issue coincides with the OLYMPIC EXPO BEIJING 2008 which is being held in Beijing, China from 8 to 18 August in conjunction with the Games of the XXIX Olympics. Three souvenir sheets and a Beijing Personalized stamp sheet will also be released on the same day.
