Isle of Man Post issue a set of six stamps which surveys the Viking history of the island.
The research was undertaken by Manx-resident and former Director of the British Museum Sir David Wilson, while the beautiful artwork was produced by eminent illustrator Victor Ambrus best known as part of Channel 4's "Time Team'.
