Pabay will issue a new stamp and cover on 4 September to coincide with the Royal Mail series 'endangered species'. The stamp will feature the White-tailed Eagle.
The adult White Tailed Eagle or Sea Eagle (which is approximately 70cm) is mostly dark brown with a pure white tail and large yellow bill. In flight it has a large wing span which allows the bird to soar, glide and aerial dive. The White Tailed Eagle is of conservation concern and is on the UK long list of threatened/declining species.
