Canada Post have issued new stamps to mark the 150th anniversary of Ottawa's status as the country's capital city.
The 52c (domestic) and $1.55 (international) stamps depict Ottawa past and present and were issued on 3 May. The city's modern Parliament Buildings are shown in the foreground whilst the image of a lumberers' regatta in the background shows how the city looked 150 years ago.
