Australia Post has released two stamps to celebrate the Australian cricket team's victory over England to reclaim the Ashes on 18 December 2006.
This issue comprises a 50-cent domestic stamp featuring jubilant players moments after the final wicket had fallen on the last day of play in the decisive third Test, and a $1.85 international stamp, showing the Australian team celebrating as it receives the replica Ashes Urn.
In addition to the two new stamps a first day cover, minisheet, maxi cards, coin and stamp cover, stamp pack, and booklets are also available.
