Isle of Man Post will be marking the 40th anniversary this year of England's World Cup win over Germany with a set of six stamps celebrating the victory at Wembley on July 30 1966. The stamps feature scenes from the match, with images provided by Graeme Atkinson, a sports photography archivist for the Press Association.
Philatelic bureau manager Dot Tilbury said: "We were pleased to have worked in conjunction with Deutsche Post, the German post office, on this issue which has been licenced by FIFA and holds World Cup 2006 official status."
