Hungary Post commemorates the centennial of the foundation of the Museum of Fine Arts by issuing a special miniature sheet of stamps.
The miniature sheet marking the centennial shows a selection of works: Raphael's Esterhazy Madonna; El Greco's Mary Magdalene; Leonardo da Vinci's Equestrian Statue and Claude Monet's Three Fishing Boats. The frame of the sheet shows a detail of the interior of the Museum of Fine Arts, while the first day cover is adorned by a detail of the exterior. The design of the commemorative postmark shows a stylised capital of a column.
