First stamps of 2007 about Polar Year, TV broadcasting in Finland and truck transport

Stamp year 2007 begins in Finland on 24 January. On that date there will be six stamp issues with a total of ten stamps. The first stamps of the New Year will celebrate International Polar Year, 50 years of TV broadcasting in Finland, and the centenary of Finnish Truck Transport. The Winter Landscape, Haminalahti, Faces and Sunset stamps will also be issued that day. Sunset has a value of 1.40 euros. This corresponds to the postage for a max. 250 gram 1st class letter in Finland. The denomination of the other new stamps is 0.70 euros, which corresponds to the postage for a max. 50 gram 1st class letter in Finland.
