Australia Post issue a new set of stamps on 12 September depicting 10 classic rock 'n' roll posters dating back to the 1960s. Acts featured on the stamps include the Rolling Stones, Masters Apprentices, Midnight Oil, Mental as Anything and Paul Kelly.
The release of the stamps may also help to solve an enduring mystery, namely who was responsible for designing the 1969 poster for the Masters Apprentices' gig at Parramatta Town Hall. To this day the identity of the designed remains unknown.
