The ultra secret work of the thousands who worked at Bletchley Park and its outstations has been officially recognized after 60 years. Special badges are being issued to mark the vital contribution their undercover work made to the shortening of World War Two. It also heralded the beginning of the computer age. To celebrate these awards Bletchley Park Post Office is issuing a unique first day cover. The Royal Mail Victoria Cross stamp issue on 21st September will be added to a specially designed envelope and cancelled with a facsimile of the Bletchley Park badge. Priced at ₤12.50 plus ₤1.50 post & packing proceeds from this collectable cover will go to preserving Bletchley Park and its story for future generations.
