Canada Post release a new stamp on 20 April to mark the 50th anniversary of the country's Labour Congress.
Formed on 23 April 1956, the Canadian Labour Congress was established in order to help protect the rights of the country's workers and has been instrumental in securing benefits such as the Canada Pension Plan and overtime pay, whilst also protecting workers with health and safety legislation and universal public medicare.
