The role that Rotary fulfils worldwide is now showcased on South African stamps. The set of two stamps that was issued by the South African Post Office will help in creating awareness about Rotary.
Designed by Philatelic Services' artist, Joe Hlongwane, the first stamp features the role played by Rotary in helping youth through education and employment. The second stamp shows the 2005 Rotary's theme "eradicating polio in the world." The role that Rotary plays in developing multitudes of people throughout the world is incorporated into the background of the design of these two stamps.
